FAQ

Q: Is this a co-ed facility?
A: Yes!

Q: Is there parking?
A: Yes there is some off street parking, 8 spaces next to the building, along with metered street parking in front of the Golden Ball building on Crown street and also near by on Prince Edward Street as well as on and around Waterloo Street

Q: What do I need to bring with me to a session?
A: Wear comfortable athletic clothing, bring INDOOR shoes with you, a bottle of water (we have a water cooler for refills), a small towel.

Q: I have an injury or chronic illness, can I still come in to work out?
A: Every person who comes to Port City Training and Fitness will be given a questionnaire to screen for any health or injury issues that cannot be worked around properly, or to see if there is anything that needs to be checked by your doctor prior to starting a fitness regimen. Largely where there is a will, there is a way, we just sometimes have to ask for your doctor to give his blessing in certain situations.

Q: What is the length of a membership?
A: Memberships run for a term of 12 months but we do have flexibility as far as pausing membership for a period of time and we do not charge a cancel fee on a regular membership if you need to leave earlier than 12 months.

Q: What if I need to cancel my membership?
A: If you end up with health issues such as long term illness or injury, or if you run into financial hardship, or if you end up moving away for work and can no longer maintain membership, come talk to us, these things happen and we can pause or cancel your membership if necessary.

Q: Can I bring my kids to the gym while I work out?
A: No, this is not permitted for liability reasons and we do not offer child minding services. All participants/attendees must be 18 years or older.
